How To Get A Sinnoh Stone in Pokemon GO

There are a few ways to get Sinnoh Stones, but none are guaranteed.

That means you'll want to complete as many of these tasks as possible - especially since you can only use it once.

Field Research

Arguably the steadiest method of nabbing a stone, you'll need to complete a Field Research task each day for seven days.

At the end, you'll have a chance to earn the Sinnoh Stone, but it's not guaranteed.

Go Battle League Reward

Speaking of PvP, try competing in the Go Battle League for a chance to earn a Sinnoh Stone as a mystery item.

Battling Other Players

You might earn a Sinnoh Stone from battling another player.

Battling Team Go Rocket Leaders

You might earn a Sinnoh Stone from battling a Team Go Rocket Leader.

Pokemon GO Sinnoh Stone Evolutions List

At the time of writing, there are 18 Pokemon which can be evolved from using a Sinnoh Stone.

You'll also need 100 Candy in order to evolve the Pokemon. Some are also dependant on having male or female Pokemon so be sure to check your index.

How To Find More Special Evolution Items

Want to evolve more unique Pokemon? Some Pokemon in the game can't be caught unless you use a special evolution item.

You'll need a King's Rock for Politoed and Slowking, a Sun Stone for Bellossom and Sunflora, the Dragon Scale for Kingdra, a Metal Coat for Scizor and Steelix, Plus UpGrade for Porygon2.
