- The more information that you include here, the quicker Google will be able to verify the place's existence.

Select a place category. Tap the "Category" text field, then tap a category that correlates with the place.
- You can search for a more specific category by typing into the text box.

Enter non-required information. You can add the following non-essential information about your place:
- Phone number - Tap the Phone text box, then type in your place's phone number.
- Website - Tap the Website text box, then enter the place's website address.
- Hours - Tap the Add hours box, select days of operation, and then add an open time and a close time by tapping SET OPEN AND CLOSE HOURS and selecting the correct times. Once you've added hours for at least one day of the week, you can add more hours for different days by tapping the ADD HOURS link.

Tap SEND . It's in the top-right corner of the screen. Doing so will submit your request to Google. You should receive an email regarding whether or not your submission was accepted within two weeks.
- On some Android phones, you'll tap a paper plane-shaped icon in the top-right corner instead of SEND.

Click Submit . It's a blue button in the bottom-right corner of the "Add a place" window. As long as the place that you entered doesn't already exist in Google Maps, doing so will submit a request for addition to Google. You should receive an email confirming whether or not your place was added within a couple of weeks.^[1]
- If the place does already exist, you'll receive a pop-up window with the place's current address.
- If the pop-up window notifying you that the place exists has the wrong place, you can click SUBMIT ANYWAY.

Sign in to your Google account, click on the menu icon before your profile picture. From the dropdown menu, click on My Business, this will open a link/page. Mark the checkbox in front of the locations you want to remove, click on the action bottom that appears, click on remove location from the drop-down menu, and you are done removing them.
